Traffic on the border with Romania is intense, according to information published Friday morning on the website of Border Police.

Traffic is intense at Vidin, Kardam and Oryahovo for exiting trucks.

The joint border crossing points Kainardzha/Lipnitsa and Krushari/Dobromir are open between 8 am and 8 pm.

The Romanian ferry vessel "Europa", serving the line Nikopol - Turnu Magurele, is in maintenance, and travellers are advised to use other checkpoints on the Bulgarian-Romanian border.

At the border with Serbia, traffic is normal at all border crossing points.

The construction works at Kalotina continue, and the number of open lanes is reduced. Over the weekend, travellers with cars should bear in mind that the temporary traffic organisation before and in the area of the border crossing may extend the crossing time.

At the border with Greece, traffic is also normal at all crossing points. Citizens travelling to and from Greece during the weekend are advised to use the other crossing points on the Bulgarian-Greek border - Ilinden, Zlatograd, Ivaylovgrad and Kapitan Petko Voyvoda - in addition to Kulata and Makaza. Only cars and minibuses may pass through the border crossing points Makaza, Zlatograd and Ivaylovgrad.

Traffic at the borders with Turkiye and North Macedonia is normal at all points.
