site.btaChildren's Easter Festival of Bosilegrad Kicks Off with Screening of Documentary "Hard Shells"

The 32nd edition of the International Children's Easter Festival, which will take place between 16 and 22 April in Bosilegrad, was launched with a screening of the documentary film "Hard Shells" directed by Vladislav Chanev on April 16. The film was presented at the Multimedia Centre of the Bulgarian News Agency (BTA) - MaxiM Hall.

The video documentary follows some of the challenges that the main organizer of the Easter Festival in Bosilegrad, Alexander Dimitrov, faces every year. The footage shows how he has managed to help the Bulgarian community in Bosilegrad and the surrounding area to preserve its traditions, customs and culture for 32 years despite the difficulties.

Before the screening, Alexander Dimitrov addressed the audience and said, "It is a pleasure for me to be here today, at the Bulgarian News Agency, where I feel both host and guest, because for the last 10 years there has been a BTA press club in Bosilegrad and I am a correspondent there."

The programme of the International Children's Easter Festival in Bosilegrad will run until April 22.
