The National Archaeological Institute with Museum at the Bulgarian Academy of Sciences (NAIM - BAS) will present the 18th National Archaeological Exhibition Bulgarian Archaeology 2024, which will open on Friday and contain over 500 exhibits.

“I do not remember having had an exhibition so rich in finds, information and sensational discoveries,” said NAIM - BAS Director Hristo Popov.

The exhibition will be officially opened on February 14, and will be available to visitors from February 15 to June 8 in the Central Hall of NAIM-BAS.

"The big highlight is that here we have the opportunity to show finds from the research of more than 30 archaeological sites and another 20 are presented in posters with information about the research itself. What you will see is extremely impressive," noted Popov.

The Bulgarian Archaeology 2024 exhibition will be followed by others later this year, when visitors will see what has been discovered in its full glory, he added.
