site.btaDRF To Be Guarantor that Peevski Will Not Influence Executive Branch, TISP Deputy Floor Leader Says

Democracy, Rights and Freedom-DRF are the only guarantor of the words of others in the government that Delyan Peevski will have absolutely no influence in the executive branch, said Stanislav Balabanov, Deputy Floor Leader of There Is Such A People (TISP) Friday. In his opinion the DRF are part of the majority with one motive - to mitigate the influence of MRF - New Beginning leader Delyan Peevski. 

Balabanov stressed that the moment the DRF senses or even suspects the involvement of such a person as Peevski in power, Dogan's MPs will withdraw their support from the regular government. "Even we may outpace them and such a government - without real support - will fall," Balabanov said. 

He clarified that names, nominations for deputy ministers, regional governors, etc. have not yet been commented, as all the time before the construction of the government was about the upcoming legislative initiatives and the agreement. "The logic is that for there to be transparency in governance in any ministry, there needs to be scrutiny from other parties in the form of deputy ministers, advisors in smaller portfolios", Balabanov said.

He stressed that during the talks with the DRF, the latter have not requested any specific positions in the governing structures.
