Twenty-six years ago Friday, Bulgarian Miriona Moeva set a record for 24-hour marathon swim in a pool.

She swam 85.617 km in 24 hours in the swimming pool of the Sports Palace in central Sofia, becoming the first women to achieve that.

She applies for entry in the Guinness Book of Records but her name is not among the entries.
