site.btaBulgarian Posts Awarded BGN 4.45 Mln in Government Compensation for Services Provided in 2022-2023

The government approved BGN 4.45 million in additional expenditures to the 2024 budget of the Ministry of Transport and Communications to compensate Bulgarian Posts EAD for spending on services of general economic interest provided in 2022 and 2023, the Council of Ministers press office reported on Wednesday, covering the government’s weekly meeting.

The money is within the legally established limit for compensating the national postal operator’s net spending.

The sum will balance the monetary flows of Bulgarian Posts and will ensure timely payment of wages, funding of investment projects and higher financial liquidity.
