GERB-UDF have won the most votes in Bulgaria's October 27 snap parliamentary elections in the Republic of North Macedonia. The coalition was backed by 109 Bulgarians in the country, according to data published on the Central Election Commission’s website on Monday. GERB-UDF was followed by Continue the Change - Democratic Bulgaria with 53 votes, Vazrazhdane with 48 votes, and There Is Such a People with 24 votes. The Movement for Rights and Freedoms – New Beginning was backed by seven voters, BSP-United Left by eight, the Alliance for Rights and Freedoms by five, and Morality, Unity, Honour (MECh) by three, according to data published on the Central Election Commission’s website on Monday.

Bulgarian citizens in North Macedonia were able to vote at five locations: the Bulgarian embassy in Skopje, where the majority of votes were cast; the Bulgarian Consulate General in Bitola; and voting stations in Ohrid, Prilep, and Strumica.

A total of 327 Bulgarians cast their ballots in the October 27 elections, marking the lowest voter turnout compared to the previous three years. In the June 9 elections, 340 Bulgarian citizens went to the polls. In April 2023, 453 Bulgarians voted in the elections, and in October 2022, 461 voters cast their ballots.
