Another air strike alert was announced in Odesa Region Sunday noon, the chairman of the Odesa regional administration Oleg Kiper, said in a post on Telegram.

At that time, a BTA delegation of headed by Director General Kirill Valchev was traveling from Odesa back to Bulgaria. Dobreva performed at a concert on on the occasion of the Day of the Bessarabian Bulgarians. The event was organized by the BTA National Press Club in Odesa with the support of the Consulate General. 

One educational establishment and 21 houses in Odesa were damaged in a blast following an explosion Saturday evening, the Odessa City Council said on Telegram. 

Bulgarians in the Odesa region number more than 150,000 and were the third largest population group in Ukraine in 2001, according to the official census. About 50,000 - 60,000 Bulgarians live in the city of Odesa itself. The largest compact Bulgarian population is concentrated in the Bolgrad, Izmail and Belgorod-Dnestrovsky districts.
