Deputy Minister of Youth and Sports Petar Mladenov and Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs Nevyana Miteva discussed interagency cooperation at a meeting on Wednesday. The topics for cooperation cover a number of areas where the two ministries can partner, with the main points to be included in the agreement being the problem of anti-Semitism in its various forms in the field of sport, more work with the various federations and youth organizations, the promotion of the Pact for the Future

Mladenov expressed his hope that Bulgaria would be recognized as a Balkan regional hub for youth policy. "We certainly have something to say and we can be that bridge between the European Union - South East Europe - Western Balkans", he added.

Both sides agreed that more education and knowledge is necessary on the pressing issue of anti-Semitism, both at home and around the world.

The agreement between the two ministries is expected to be signed within two weeks.
