The conditions for hiking in the mountains are very good, the Bulgarian Red Cross Mountain Rescue Service told BTA.

Temperatures are between 3C and 8C. In the mountains it is cool, quiet, clear and sunny. The weather is great for hiking.

Lift facilities in the resorts are not working.

No incidents involving tourists have been reported in the last 24 hours.

According to the weather forecast of the National Institute of Meteorology and Hydrology, it will be sunny in the mountains with light wind from the northeast. Highs at 1,200 metres will be about 17C, at 2,000 m - about 10C.
