Blue Bulgaria top-of-the-list candidate in Haskovo Tsveta Kirilova presented her priorities for the region on Tuesday. Among them is the construction of an innovative hybrid university branch of the major national universities, which will be tasked with creating a wider learning opportunity for the local community by introducing vocational training programmes in response to business needs.

As a second priority, Kirilova noted the implementation of educational programmes for the prevention of addictions through a healthy lifestyle in schools, which will form critical and engaging behaviour in students for leading a healthy lifestyle. Sports should become the biggest and best addiction of the new generations, Kirilova underscored.

Kirilova also stressed that the introduction of an integrated system for the prevention and counteraction of corruption is a necessity. "It will improve citizens' trust in institutions in Bulgaria and create better conditions for business, guarantee justice and legality", she said, adding that the work of the administration must be transparent and helpful to society.
