Violeta Koritarova-Kasabova keeps her office as Minister of Regional Development and Public Works from the first caretaker cabinet of Dimitar Glavchev.

A civil engineer by training, she is experienced in the area of geodesy and geo-information systems, investment planning and land registers, according to the website of the geodesy, Cartography and Cadastre Agency. She is a long-serving employee of the Agency and was its Executive Director from 2018 to June 2023. Before that she worked at the Agriculture and Forestry Ministry and the Education and Science Ministry.

She was trained in Bulgaria (the University of Architecture, Building and Geodesy), the Netherlands, Austria and Germany.
