There is heavy traffic at some of Bulgaria's border control checkpoints with Romania, Serbia, and Turkiye, Border Police said on their website Monday. The information is valid as at 6 am.

At the border with Romania, there is heavy traffic for trucks exiting Bulgaria through the Kardam and Oryahovo border control checkpoint. Due to repair works of the Giurgiu-Ruse bridge over the Danube on the Bulgarian side, traffic is controlled by  traffic lights to let vehicles through in stages.

At the border with Serbia, there is heavy traffic for passenger cars entering Bulgarian through the Kalotina checkpoint.

At the border with Turkiye, there is heavy traffic for passenger cars passing through the Kapitan Andreevo crossing.

Traffic at the border crossings with Greece and North Macedonia is normal.
