site.btaInstallation Steel Grass to Be Presented Outside of France for First Time at Sofia Lights Festival

The 4th Sofia Lights festival for immersive art installations will be held at Vrana Park from July 25 to 28, the organizers said Tuesday. Among the installations is Steel Grass by French art studio Aérosculpture, to be presented outside of France for the first time. This is also the first time Steel Grass will be on such a large scale, covering a large part of Vrana Park.

Steel Grass is simultaneously a minimalist and monumental installation comprising hundreds of steel grass stalks as high as a seven-story building. They play with the natural light and wind, creating a unique visual and emotional experience, the organizers from Sofia Lights said.

Sofia Lights co-founder Yasen Geshev commented that this type of installations have never been shown in Bulgaria. "We have been in contact with Aérosculpture and are very happy to have found a way to make this installation on such a large scale that fits the spirit of our event entirely. This year we will once again create a magical reality in the park, but this time during the day," he added.
