site.btaRecord Number of Participants to Compete at Tryavna Ultra from July 12

The ninth edition of the Tryavna Ultra International Ultramarathon will be held from July 12 to 14, said the municipal administration in Tryavna on Friday.

A record number of participants will run on an improved route at distances of 153 km, 100 km, 80 km, 42 km and 21 km. "We have registered participants literally from all over the world, Bulgaria, Romania, Canada, Peru, Australia, USA, Japan, Germany, Morocco, Finland, Great Britain, and many others", said  Krasimira Markovic and Nikolay Kolev from the I Run Sports Club, which organizes the event.

"Tourism is one of the main areas in which we work and such a large-scale event is extremely important for our region and local businesses here", said Tryavna Mayor Dencho Minev.
