Daniel Mitov was born in Sofia on December 4, 1977. Sofia University graduate in Political Science. Specialized in Political Skills at New Bulgarian University. Executive Director of Democracy Foundation until 2006.

Minister of foreign affairs in Georgi Bliznashki's caretaker cabinet (2014) and in Boyko Borissov's second cabinet (2014-2017). Elected to six parliaments: 45th, 46th, 47th, 48th, 49th, 49th and 50th National Assembly (2021-2024).

Deputy Chair of GERB Party since May 12, 2021.
