Traffic is heavy at some of the border crossing points with Romania and Greece on Saturday morning, Border Police said on its website.

On the border with Romania, traffic is heavy at the checkpoints across the Danube in Ruse and Vidin. At the border crossing points Kardam and Nikopol exiting truck traffic is heavy.

The traffic leaving the country is heavy at Kulata and Makaza on the border with Greece. Only cars and vans can pass through the border crossing points Makaza, Zlatograd and Ivaylovgrad.

On the border with Serbia, traffic is normal at all border crossing points. At Kalotina, construction works are being carried out in connection with a reconstruction and modernization contract. The works require temporary narrowing of the lanes and reorganization of the traffic flow. During the holidays, travellers with cars should bear in mind that the temporary traffic organization before and in the area of the border crossing may extend the crossing time.

Traffic is normal at all border crossing points on the borders with North Macedonia and Turkiye.
