In June, the lowest temperatures will range between 14C and 19C and the highest between 35C and 40C, the National Institute of Meteorology and Hydrology told BTA on Thursday.
The average monthly temperature will be above normal, which is between 22C and 26C in most parts, and between 6C and 14C in the mountains.
The monthly precipitation will be around normal, which is between 60 and 90 l/sq m in the valleys, 30 to 60 l/sq m in Southwestern Bulgaria and at the seaside, and 70 to 120 l/sq m in the mountains.
June 1-10: Around July 2-3 there will be brief rain showers, thunderstorms and in many places. In the second half of the period it will be mainly sunny.
June 11-20: Sunny and dry, with isolated brief rain showers in the mountains. Temperatures will be above normal.
June 21-30: Temperatures will be relatively high. Rain and thunder more likely at the beginning of the period.
