Parliament elected an ad-hoc committee to draft rules of procedure for the organization and functioning of the National Assembly. It is composed of 14 MPs, two from each parliamentary group. Anna Alexandrova from GERB-UDF was elected its chair.

The deadline for written proposals for amendments and additions to the current rules of procedure is June 26. The committee shall be elected for a period until the final adoption of the new rules.

A total of 129 MPs voted for the nomination of Anna Alexandrova as chair of the ad-hoc committee, 46 were against and 52 abstained. She received the support of 67 deputies from GERB-UDF, 46 from MRF, 3 from CC-DB and 13 from Grandeur.
