In my opinion, there will be a government, but whether it will be sustainable remains to be seen, said Confederation of Independent Trade Unions in Bulgaria (CITUB) leader Plamen Dimitrov on Nova TV.  Regarding the low voter turnout in the June 9 elections, Dimitrov said that with these elections the tension in society has not been eased. According to him, people expected some formula that would lead to a solution.

It is evident that GERB, the Movement for Rights and Freedoms and I suppose There Is Such a People will form a government – either expert or a coalition government,” Dimitrov said. “A lot of serious problems have accumulated in all sectors for all these years. There were six governments and each postponed decisions," said the CITUB leader.

According to him, the problems are piling up. "I can say is that the budget in the second half of this year will have to be updated. I think that there a number of questions how revenues and expenditures will be implemented, " he added. Dimitrov recalled that before it was dissolved, Parliament voted BGN 1 billion leva in support for Maritza East Mines over a four-year. The allocation of BGN 250 million for has not been budgeted. "The problem with salaries there is also quite worrying for people," Dimitrov said.
