site.btaSofia's Plus 359 Gallery to Host Exhibition by Artist Stela Vasileva

Sofia’s Plus 359 Gallery will host a solo exhibition by Stela Vasileva between June 18 and July 27. Titled "Verticality (And Other Spatial Orientations)", the exhibition will be curated by Boyana Dzhikova, the Gallery said.

"Stela Vasileva’s exhibition in Plus 359 Gallery deals with the way the body experiences architecture," the organizers said.

Born in 1983, Vasileva lives and works in Sofia. She graduated in Mural Painting from the National Academy of Arts. In 2010, she received the Gaudenz B. Ruf Award. Vasileva has taken part in many group exhibitions and projects in Bulgaria and abroad, as well as in the following artist-in-residence programmes: KulturKontakt in Vienna (2012), Krinzinger Projekte in Hungary and Vienna (2012), and Cité Internationale des Arts in Paris (2014).
