site.bta18th Edition of Black Box Festival Features Performances from Four Countries

Performances from four countries will be presented during the eighteenth edition of the Black Box International Theatre and Dance Festival, which starts on May 30 and continues until June 14, 2024, in Plovdiv. The event is funded by the Plovdiv Municipality and is part of the city's Cultural Calendar for 2024, according to Katrin Gutman from the municipality's cultural department.

The festival includes international and Bulgarian performances and events in the field of theatre and contemporary dance from Italy, Portugal, Spain and Bulgaria. Partners of the festival are the Culture Ministry, Plovdiv Municipality, Italian Cultural Institute, Plovdiv Drama Theatre, Plovdiv Puppet Theatre and Arsenal Gallery.

The official opening of the festival is in the chamber hall of the Plovdiv Drama Theatre.
