Traffic is heavy at some border crossings with Romania and Turkiye for trucks, the Border Police General Directorate of the Interior Ministry said on its website. The information is up to date as of 6:00 am on Tuesday.

On the border with Romania, traffic is heavy at the Kardam and Durankulak border crossing points for trucks at the exit. The Ruse Regional Road Directorate informed that from May 13 to 31 this year emergency repairs will be carried out on the bridge over the Danube between Ruse and Giurgiu. A temporary traffic organisation is introduced. The repair works will be carried out during daylight hours and traffic will be one-lane through and regulated by traffic signs and signals.

Traffic is heavy on the border with Turkiye at the Kapitan Andreevo border crossing at the exit for trucks.

Traffic is normal at all border crossings with Greece. Only cars and vans can pass through the Makaza, Zlatograd and Ivaylovgrad border crossing points.

At the border with Serbia, traffic is normal at all border crossing points. At the Kalotina BCP construction and installation works are being carried out in connection with a reconstruction and modernisation contract. The activities require temporary narrowing of the lanes and reorganisation of the traffic of the vehicles passing through. During the holidays, travellers with cars should bear in mind that the temporary traffic organisation before and in the area of the border crossing may extend the crossing time.

Traffic is normal at all border crossing points with North Macedonia.
