site.btaDefence Minister Zapryanov to Take Part in EU Foreign Affairs Council

Defence Minister Atanas Zapryanov will take part in a meeting of the EU Foreign Affairs/Defence Council in Brussels, the Ministry of Defence (MoD) said on Tuesday. The defence ministers will discuss support for Ukraine and EU defence readiness. NATO Secretary General Jens Stoltenberg and Ukrainian Defence Minister Rustem Umerov will join the session on Ukraine. 

At a meeting of the European Defence Agency's Steering Board, ministers will discuss the results of the Agency's long-term review as well as potential opportunities for cooperation in implementing EU priorities for the development of defence capabilities.
