site.btaPM Glavchev: All Vote Buying Alerts Are Followed Up without Compromise
Caretaker Bulgarian Prime Minister Dimitar Glavchev on Tuesday held a working meeting with the leaderships with the security services.
"We are taking uncompromising action on all alerts about vote buying," Glavchev said. "We have assumed a commitment to hold free and fair elections," he added, quoted by the Government Information Service.
At the meeting, the Chief Commissioner Dimitar Kangaldzhiev, acting Secretary General of the Interior Ministry, reported to the Prime Minister about the steps taken by his Ministry on the arrangements for the June 9 elections.
The Middle East situation was also discussed by the participants in the meeting, who included State Agency for National Security Chair Plamen Tonchev, State Intelligence Agency Chair Antoan Gechev, the Director of the Military Intelligence Service, Brigadier General Venelin Venev, and the Chief of the National Service for Protection, Brigadier General Emil Tonev.
Glavchev stressed the importance of the professional and accurate functioning of the services.
