Italian singer Floriana Cangiano (aka FLO) will perform at Sofia Live Club in Bulgaria's capital on April 20. Her concert Racconti Mediterranei will be part of the 24th European Music Festival, which kicked off on March 11 in partnership with the Italian Cultural Institute, the organizers said Wednesday. 

To perform at the concert are also Federico Luongo (guitar), Davide Costagliola (bass), and Michele Maione (percussion). The audience will hear a symbiosis of Southern Italian tradition and melodies from across the globe.

According to Italian Cultural Institute of Sofia head Maria Mazza, the concert will be to the liking of the Bulgarian audience as well as Sofia's guests, because music has the power to touch the hearts of various people.

Floriana Cangiano studied at the San Pietro a Majella Music Academy in Naples. She received many awards with her very first disc, published in 2014. During her career, FLO has partnered with musicians such as Stefano Bollani, Tosca, Paolo Fresu, and Daniele Sepe. She has participated in music and drama theatre plays directed by Alfredo Arias, Massimo Luconi, Claudio Mattone, and Gino Landi, among others. FLO writes music for theatre, cinema, and television.
