site.btaRadoslav Milenkov Appointed as EBRD Deputy Director for Bulgaria

The Council of Ministers appointed the Deputy Governor of the Bulgarian National Bank and head of the Banking Supervision department, Radoslav Milenkov, as the European Bank for Reconstruction and Development (EBRD) Deputy Governor for Bulgaria.

The decision is related to changes made in the composition of the Management Board of the Bulgarian National Bank, as a result of which there is a need to update the representation of this country in the EBRD. According to established practice, the position of deputy governor at the EBRD is held by a deputy governor of the central bank.

This ensures representation of Bulgaria in the international financial institution, which will help to expand and stabilize international contacts and protect the interests of the country.
