site.bta"Diplomacy and Art" Exhibition Opens in Albanian Parliament during National Assembly Chair Rosen Zhelyazkov's Visit
An exhibition titled "Diplomacy and Art" opened in the Albanian Parliament building within the framework of the official visit of Bulgaria’s National Assembly Chair Rosen Zhelyazkov on Monday.
The exposition is realized by the State Cultural Institute with the Bulgarian Foreign Minister as part of the Balkan Dialogues programme.
The exhibition presents 22 paintings by renowned Bulgarian artists from the post-war period. The artworks are part of the extensive art collection of the Foreign Ministry.
This exhibition is a continuation of the original exhibition "Diplomacy and Art," dedicated to the 140th anniversary of the Bulgarian diplomatic service and displayed at a number of national and regional museums and galleries. It showcases mainly landscapes created by artists active in the 1940s, 1950s, and 1960s.
