site.btaBulgaria Participates in TRAVEL+ International Tourism Exhibition in Hungary

Bulgaria has been invited to be a guest of honour at the TRAVEL+ international tourism exhibition, which is taking place on February 22-25, 2024, in Budapest, Hungary, the Bulgarian Tourism Ministry press centre said on Thursday.

TRAVEL+ 2024 is Hungary's major tourism event, which presents the latest travel agencies and tour operators’ offers for travel, accommodation, and leisure. The four-day tourism event will be attended by companies and organizations from across the tourism spectrum.

Bulgaria's participation in TRAVEL+ 2024 aims to present this country as a safe and peaceful destination with a long tradition of quality and hospitality in tourism, combining beautiful and diverse nature, cultural heritage, reasonably priced quality mountain resorts, delicious food, and excellent wines.

Ten exhibitors have applied for participation at the 100-square-meter Bulgarian information stand.

In 2023, Bulgaria saw a 35% increase in Hungarian tourists compared to 2022.
