Bulgaria and the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia traditionally have good relations. It is important that parliamentary dialogue is enhanced, wrote Deputy Prime Minister and Foreign Minister Mariya Gabriel on Facebook on Tuesday. Gabriel is paying a two-day working visit to Riyadh. 
 
She thanked Abdullah bin Mohammed Al-Sheikh, Speaker of the Shura Council for the constructive meeting. 
 
The Deputy Prime Minister said that the Bulgarian Parliament has a group for friendship with Saudi Arabia, which will further aid advancing bilateral cooperation. 

At the meeting Abdullah bin Mohammed Al-Sheikh presented the Shura Council of Saudi Arabia. “We underscored the desire for strengthened economic cooperation and joint initiatives in the field of new technologies, innovation and culture,” wrote Gabriel, thanking her host for the fruitful discussion.
