site.btaAmbassador Metin Kazak Talks with Jordanian Senate Committee for Friendship with Bulgaria

Bulgarian Ambassador in Amman Metin Kazak held an official meeting with the Jordanian-Bulgarian Friendship Committee in the Senate of the Middle East country, including Committee Chair Khaled Ramadan, the Bulgarian Embassy in Jordan reported on its website on Tuesday.

Ramadan noted the longstanding excellent relations between the two countries in the field of parliamentarism and other areas. He expressed a desire and a willingness for Amman and Sofia to expand and upgrade their fruitful cooperation at a time of multiple challenges in the region.

Kazak said that, as a former member of the European Parliament, he shares the view that it is important to invigorate bilateral political and parliamentary relations. He told his host that the Bulgarian National Assembly already has a Bulgarian-Jordanian Friendship Group, which will help step up bilateral relations in the near future.
