Continue the Change (CC), one of the political entities behind the government, will hold a general meeting on March 30-31 to elect new leadership bodies of the party: an Executive Council and a National Council, the CC press office said on Thursday.

The delegates to the general meeting will be polled about CC's candidates in the forthcoming European elections.

The decision to convene a general meeting comes amid an expansion of the CC network at the municipal and regional levels and a growing number of people joining the party. About 400 delegates from all over Bulgaria are expected to attend the event.

CC-DB MP Nikola Minchev told journalists he has agreed in principle to be considered for leader of a list of candidates to the European Parliament. "When the decisions are made, we will announce them," the former National Assembly speaker said.
