Aleksandar Vezenkov finished with eight points and seven rebounds and Domantas Sabonis recorded a triple-double and the Sacramento Kings won, 143-113, against visiting Washington Wizards in a regular season game of the National Basketball Association of the United States and Canada (NBA).
Sacramento leads the Pacific Division on a record 16-9 and is a half-game ahead of the Los Angeles Clippers.
Vezenkov played 11:46 minutes and finished shooting 60% from the field, including 2/3 shoots from three-point range. The Bulgarian scored his first three-pointer for 21:21 in the first period, and in the second and third the Kings scored 85 points in total.
The Bulgarian stole the ball at the start of the final period and seconds later drilled his second three-pointer for Sacramento's lead at 118-97. With nearly nine minutes remaining, he won an offensive rebound after a Keegan Murray miss and scored his final basket of the game for 120:99.
Sabonis finished with 28 points, 13 rebounds and 12 assists as all five of the team's starting five were in double figures at the end of the day. Jordan Poole chipped in 28 points with a season-high eight threes and Murray scored 25.
