site.btaSofia to Host 19th Innovation and Sustainable Growth Forum

The Nineteenth National Innovation Forum "Innovations and Sustainable Growth" will take place here on Tuesday. The official guests at this year’s edition are expected to include EU Innovation, Research, Culture, Education and Youth Commissioner Iliana Ivanova and Bulgarian Prime Minister Nikolay Denkov, said the Applied Research and Communications Fund (ARC) which is a co-organizer of the event.

Defence Minister Todor Tagarev and Sofia Mayor Vasil Terziev are also expected to address the forum, along with Miglena Nikolova, Executive Director of NIKI Roto Aviation (winners of the Innovative Enterprise 2023 Award) and Dr Todor Yalamov, Deputy Dean of the Faculty of Economics at the St Kliment Ohridski University of Sofia.

The forum will highlight the ARC's Innovation.bg 2023 Annual Report with a focus on the development of the Bulgarian defence industry.

Ivanova and Denkov will present the Innovative Enterprise 2023 Awards.

The National Innovation Forum is organized by ARC, Enterprise Europe Network - България, and the European Commission Directorate-General for Internal Market, Industry, Entrepreneurship and SMEs. The event partners are the Joint Innovation Centre of the Bulgarian Academy of Sciences, the Bulgarian Association of Information Technologies (BAIT), the Bulgarian Entrepreneurs and Startup Community (BESCO), the Professional Association of Robotics, Automation and Innovations (PARAi), Health and Life Sciences Cluster Bulgaria, Artificial Intelligence Cluster Bulgaria, the Association for Innovation, Business Excellence, Services, and Technology (AIBEST), and the Bulgarian Association for People Management.
