In 2022, Bulgaria had the EU's second-highest share of people with a low education level considered poor, the Statistical Office of the European Commission (Eurostat) reported. The rate in Bulgaria was 67.9%, putting the country immediately after Greece, which had the highest share, at 81.6%.
