August 13 (BTA) - On August 16 the Israeli authorities will scrap the 14-day quarantine requirement for travellers arriving from Bulgaria, the Bulgarian Foreign Ministry reported on Thursday, quoting the Bulgarian Embassy in Tel Aviv.

The decision implies that, among other arrivals, Israelis returning from Bulgaria to their country will not have to be quarantined. Israel has made similar decisions in respect of Croatia and Greece.

At present, travellers coming from Israel to Bulgaria are not required to quarantine upon arrival. RI/VE
