Bulgaria's Daniel Ivanov-Aoiyama will participate in the second strongest elite division juryo at the upcoming sumo tournament in Fukuoka, Japan, which starts on Sunday.
Aoiyama is already ranked juryo-1 and therefore cannot compete in the top makuuchi division, where only sumo players ranked maegashira, sekiwake, komusubi, ozeki and yokozuna compete.
The Bulgarian will go up in the first round on November 12 against juryo-1 Kotoshoho.
