site.bta20 Bulgarian Students Take Part in Yale Champions Tournament

Twenty Bulgarian students are taking part in the Tournament of Champions, one of the world's most prestigious communication and knowledge tournaments taking place in Yale University, the Bulgarian Consul General in New York, Angel Angelov, told BTA. 

The Tournament is part of the World Scholar's Cup Global competition and this year is being held at Yale University between November 2 and 8.

The Bulgarian team include students from four schools: eleven students from SoftUni Svetlina high school, three from Svetlina Education Group, three from the American English Academy in Sofia and three from STEALM Academy.

More than 850 children from 33 countries have entered for the competition. To qualify for the finals, they had to go through a number of regional and global rounds.
