Grigor Dimitrov qualified for the third round of the Rolex Paris Masters, an ATP Masters 1000 tennis tournament in Paris, France, with a prize fund of EUR 5.8 million. The top Bulgarian tennis player eliminated the 2020 tournament champion Daniil Medvedev by 6:3, 6:7(4), 7:6(2) after two hours and 54 minutes of play.

A week ago, the Bulgarian and the Russian met in the second round of the tournament in Vienna. Then Medvedev held the victory. However, this round went to Dimitrov, who won for the third time in a total of ten matches between them and for the first time since 2021.

In the third round, Dimitrov will play Alexander Bublik from Kazakhstan. For his ranking for this phase, he will gain 90 points for the world ranking.
