site.bta57 New COVID-19 Cases Confirmed In 24 Hours

Sofia, September 8 (BTA) - Fifty-seven new COVID-19 cases were
confirmed in the past 24 hours based on 1,220 tests, according
to data on the national coronavirus portal on Tuesday.

There are a total of 4,280 active cases and 773 patients have
been hospitalized. Fifty-three patients are in intensive care
units. One death was recorded in the past 24 hours, along with
32 recoveries bringing the number of recovered patients to
12,189.

Some 965 medical staff members have been infected. NV/PP
