site.bta163 New COVID-19 Cases Confirmed in 24 Hours

Sofia, September 11 (BTA) - The number of confirmed COVID-19
cases in Bulgaria reached 17,598 on Friday after 163 new
infections were confirmed in 24 hours out of 5,090 PCR tests,
according to data posted on www.coronavirus.bg. The active cases
 are 4,273.

Currently, the hospitalized patients number 746, including 55 in
 intensive care. The  infected medical staff are 996.

Recoveries in the last 24 hours number 145, bringing the total
to 12,619.

Four more fatalities were reported, bringing the total death
toll to 706.

The capital Sofia tops the list with 36 newly confirmed cases,
followed by Blagoevgrad  Region with 19 and Varna Region with
14.
