site.bta2,988 PCR Tests Confirm 151 COVID-19 Cases, Bringing Bulgaria's Total to 19,014

September 22 (BTA) - A total of 151 infections were
confirmed in the 24 hours until Monday midnight through 2,988
PCR tests, bringing Bulgaria's total to 19,014 cases, according
to data posted on www.coronavirus.bg on Monday. The active cases
 are 4,522.

Currently, the hospitalized patients number 714, including 33 in
 intensive care. The newly confirmed cases include 6 medical
staff (3 doctors, 2 nurses and 1 other staff) and this category
now totals 1,059.

Recoveries in the last 24 hours number 147, bringing the total
to 13,727.

Four more fatalities were reported, bringing the total death
toll to 765.

The capital Sofia tops the list with 30 newly confirmed cases,
followed by Plovdiv with 17, Bourgas with 16, Stara Zagora with
14, and Blagoevgrad and Varna with 13 each.
