site.bta4,859 PCR Tests Confirm 290 COVID-19 Cases, Bringing Bulgaria's Total to 19,573

Sofia, September 25 (BTA) - A total of 290 new coronavirus
infections were confirmed in the 24 hours until Thursday
midnight through 4,859 PCR tests, bringing Bulgaria's total to
19,573 cases, according to data posted on www.coronavirus.bg on
Thursday. The active cases are 4,775.

Currently, the hospitalized patients number 744, including 30 in
 intensive care.

The recoveries in the reporting period 146, bringing the total
to 14,013.

Six more fatalities were reported, bringing the total death toll
 to 785.

The infections among medical personnel stand at 1,095.

The capital Sofia tops the list with 61 newly confirmed cases,
followed by Blagoevgrad with 58. RNV/LN
