A total of 40 citizens of North Macedonia who were caught up in the events in Israel have now been withdrawn from the country, after another 9 people left Israel by various transport routes, the Foreign Ministry in Skopje said. Four of the North Macedonian citizens left Israel on a flight to Athens, three to Jordan and two to Belgrade.

Twenty people, who were in border areas considered risky, have already been taken this morning to Tel Aviv as a first step of their withdrawal from Israel.

The embassy of North Macedonia in Tel Aviv is in constant communication with all citizens of the country in Israel, in coordination with the crisis headquarters at the Ministry of Foreign Affairs in Skopje, and the number of those who have submitted requests for assistance to leave Israel is constantly changing, but currently does not exceed 100 citizens of North Macedonia.
