Two recent polls in North Macedonia project different outcomes for the main parties in the upcoming parliamentary elections in 2024.

One of the polls was carried out by Stratum R&D and released by Focus. The poll was conducted by phone among 1,200 respondents and shows that 10.1% would vote for VMRO-DPMNE, 15.8% for the Social Democratic Union of Macedonia (SDSM), and 9.2% would back a new party established by former Prime Minister Nikola Gruevski.

According to a poll by Market Vision, VMRO-DPMNE would receive 25.1% of the votes, followed by the Democratic Union for Integration with 9.7%, SDSM with 9.5%, and the Left with 7.1%.

The poll commissioned by Focus asked the question, "Would you support the amendments to the Constitution needed to unblock the negotiations with the EU". Fifty percent of the respondents did not give a definite answer, 35% were in favor of the amendments, and 19% were against them.

According to Focus, this is the first time a poll registered a higher percentage of respondents who would refrain from giving a definite answer regarding the inclusion of Bulgarians and other ethnic communities in North Macedonia’s Constitution, which is a condition for this country to continue the negotiation process with the EU. The poll showed that 68% of North Macedonia’s citizens support the country's EU membership, 22.4% did not give a definite answer, and 9.25% were against.
