site.bta4,943 PCR Tests Confirm 286 COVID-19 Cases, Bringing Bulgaria's Total to 20,833

Sofia, October 1 (BTA) - A total of 286 new COVID-19 cases were
confirmed in the 24 hours until Wednesday midnight through 4,943
 PCR tests, bringing Bulgaria's total to 20,833 cases, according
 to data posted on www.coronavirus.bg on Thursday. The active
cases are 5,374.

Currently, the hospitalized patients number 837, including 44 in
 intensive care.

Recoveries in the last 24 hours number 145, bringing the total
to 14,643.

Twelve more fatalities were reported, bringing the total death
toll to 837. NV/ZH
