site.btaPFC Ludogorets' Entire Leadership Bid to Resign after Embarrassing Defeat in Europa Conference League

The entire leadership and sport management of Bulgarian football champions Ludogorets tendered their resignations minutes after a humiliating 1-7 defeat at the hands of Denmark's Nordsjælland in a Group H match of the UEFA Europa Conference League, played in Farum, Denmark on Thursday night.

This is the worst ever European tournament score of the 12-time Bulgarian national champions. Other major defeats of PFC Ludogorets in European tournaments are two 0-6 losses to Arsenal (England) and Espanyol (Spain).

The resignations have been tabled to the club owners, the brothers Kiril and Georgi Domuschiev. The act apparently shows that the leadership and the sport management take the whole responsibility for Thursday's defeat.

The club headquarters in Razgrad said they will give more details about developments in Ludogorets in the coming days.

On Sunday, Ludogorets are to play Pirin Blagoevgrad in a Round 13 game of the Bulgarian First League.
