site.bta3,713 PCR Tests Confirm 283 COVID-19 Cases, Bringing Bulgaria's Total to 21,870

Sofia, October 6 (BTA) - A total of 283 infections were
confirmed in the 24 hours until Monday midnight through 3,713
PCR tests, bringing Bulgaria total to 21,870 cases, according to
 data posted on www.coronavirus.bg on Monday. The active cases
are 5,837.

Currently, the hospitalized patients number 930, including 59 in
 intensive care. The total number of infected medical staff is
1,202.

Recoveries in the last 24 hours number 165, bringing the total
to 15,179.

Ten more fatalities were reported, bringing the total death toll
 to 854.

The capital Sofia tops the list with 62 newly confirmed cases,
followed by Plovdiv with 40 and Blagoevgrad with 24. NV/DD
