The BSP for Bulgaria parliamentary group will sign a planned no-confidence motion against the government as a co-sponsor alongside the main initiator Vazrazhdane, Bulgarian Socialist Party (BSP) leader Kornelia Ninova told journalists in the corridors of the National Assembly on Thursday. The Socialists made the decision at an extraordinary meeting of the party's Executive Bureau and the parliamentary group.

Vazrazhdane intends to propose a vote of no confidence in Prime Minister Nikolay Denkov's government over its policy in the energy sector. Miners and energy workers are in their seventh day of protests over uncertainties about the future of the coal industry.

BSP for Bulgaria believes that the reasoning for the planned motion needs further elaboration, Ninova said.
