site.bta266 People Detained in Police Operation against Illegal Migration
A total of 266 people were detained in an Interior Ministry operation against illegal migration ordered by its Chief Secretary Zhivko Kotsev on Wednesday. Of those arrested, 216 were illegal foreigners, 24 were facilitating illegal migration, while 26 were detained for other offences. A total of 65 pre-trial proceedings were initiated and various narcotics were seized. Among the detained were 15 people declared wanted by the state.
